Why we love it:
It’s effortless and beautiful. You can just show up, find a seat, and enjoy the mountain views without any of the heavy lifting.

The Food (R280): They put together a great charcuterie board filled with local cheeses, meats, nuts, and fruit. It’s plenty for two to share for a relaxed lunch.
The Wine: Enjoy a guided tasting of their best wines on the house, or simply buy a bottle of your favourite to enjoy by the water.
The Setting: The cellar is filled with incredible art, and the famous Lady of the Water sculpture by the dam is a must-see.

Our Best Advice: Spend an hour or two soaking in the atmosphere at the estate, then grab a bottle of wine to bring back to your cottage. It’s the perfect companion for a long soak in the hot tub while the sun goes down.
